As a keen observer, I can assure you that although the engrossing tale of “Hunter x Hunter” has once again paused its progress indefinitely, there’s no cause for concern among its dedicated followers. The mastermind behind this captivating manga, Yoshihiro Togashi, is meticulously crafting fresh chapters. Due to his persistent chronic back problems, Togashi often finds it difficult to dedicate time to his work on the manga. Since 2022, “HxH” has been taking a break and resumed with ten new chapters only in 2024. Currently, the storyline revolves around the Succession Contest Arc where Kurapika protects the youngest prince and his mother as their bodyguard.
As he devises plans to ensure the mother and son’s safety, his ultimate goal is actually to retrieve the remaining Scarlet eyes. The publication date for Chapter 411 has yet to be disclosed, but given Togashi’s pace of work, it won’t be long. The mangaka is diligently working on new chapters and providing updates at every stage. He also keeps fans informed about his health, as they continue to show their encouragement.

Hunter x Hunter Creator Is Working on 50 Chapters for the Manga’s Return
16th December saw Togashi posting another update on his official X account, accompanied by an image. The well-known Japanese account @sandman_AP replied beneath the post with a translation: “I am currently revising and tweaking the dialogue and timeline for the next 50 chapters of Hunter x Hunter. Once this task is completed, I will get back to the tasks that I had put on hold, such as adding ink to manuscripts.
Togashi continues to push forward at a steady pace, even during breaks, since he’s already preparing an extensive collection of 50 chapters. Due to Togashi’s health condition, the release schedule for HxH deviates from the usual weekly format. Previously, the manga took a hiatus in 2019 and resumed publication in 2022 with ten issues. Just as it did before, HxH will return in 2024, but it’s evident that the author aims to provide numerous chapters following his impressive comeback.
