Elden Ring: Nightreign Will Boast Bosses Pulled from Dark Souls Series

As a seasoned traveler through FromSoftware’s dark and twisted realms, I must say the announcement of Nightreign has sent shivers down my spine. The sight of familiar foes from the Dark Souls series, including the notorious Nameless King, has me both excited and apprehensive.

In an exciting twist, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco are experimenting with turning Elden Ring into a battle royale game called Nightreign. This innovative take promises to showcase formidable enemies and bosses drawn from various Dark Souls series, set in the vast, multiverse-like world of Limveld. Ishizaki stated that these adversaries resemble beings who have wandered into Elden Ring from other dimensions, hinting at a possible shared connection between FromSoftware’s IPs beyond just a character named Patches. According to IGN, this suggests the possibility of appearances by characters or elements from Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice; it’s also interesting to note that the diverse character classes in Nightreign seem to mimic gameplay styles from these games.
