As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the list of upcoming games for the next few years is truly a sight to behold! From the long-awaited return of fan favorites like Ghost of Yotei and Grand Theft Auto 6, to the intriguing newcomers such as The First Berserker: Khazan and The Midnight Walk, there’s something for every taste.

Here at Push Square, you might not be aware that our annual Game of the Year feature is being prepared! Our team members are diligently crafting their individual articles, and we’re polishing off both our staff-selected and community-voted accolades to share with you soon.

However, we require your input on selecting a distinct honor – one that peeks into the future instead of the past. This award is centered around predicting the most exciting PS5 games slated for release in the year 2025.

In the upcoming year, the early part is shaping up to be quite busy. Some highly anticipated games like Monster Hunter Wilds, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and Trails through Daybreak 2 are scheduled for release, all within roughly a three-week span of each other.

In the near future, several highly anticipated games are on the verge of release: Ghost of Yotei, Elden Ring: Nightreign, Borderlands 4, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and Grand Theft Auto 6. We’ll find out their launch dates at some point.
