STALKER 2: 10 Best Unique Weapons

As a seasoned Stalker, I’ve traversed the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone countless times, and I must say, the weapons you’ve listed here are nothing short of awe-inspiring. These aren’t just tools for survival, they’re works of art that can turn the tide in any firefight.

Anyone can buy a good gun at a trader, but you’re special, aren’t you? If the bandits are not respecting your authority and keep trying to rob you, maybe it’s time you deliver the message in a more unique way. In the Zone, that means blasting them with a one-of-a-kind gun.

In the game “STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl“, there’s a variety of distinctive weapons hidden throughout the game world. Some can be found in caches, while others simply lie around, ready to be discovered by an adventurous stalker. A few weapons are also acquired through quests.

In case you’re partial to special guns, remember to hold onto them tightly, as once you sell them to a regular dealer, there’s no way to retrieve them later when that dealer resets.

10. Valik Lummox’s AKM-74S

Simple & Clean

Base Weapon AKM-74S
Where To Find It Lesser Zone

Indeed, an ordinary, run-down AKM-74S model has been included; so what? It’s the blue-collar champion’s pride, and for the first time in STALKER 2, you have the opportunity to wield a gun equipped with a scope.

Valik Lummox’s Kalash isn’t extraordinary, but you can acquire it in the initial hour or so of play, and it definitely outperforms wielding a double-barrel shotgun.

9. Deadeye

The Gunslinger’s Choice

Base Weapon USP
Where To Find It Great Swamps

This item, specifically designed for the US, perfectly fits within the game’s concept. You earn it as a reward during a story-driven quest around halfway through the game. From that point forward, there’s hardly any reason not to keep this formidable piece with you, conveniently stored in your holster.

The Deadeye sports a weighted muzzle stabilizer on its barrel to reduce recoil, meaning it can’t be paired with a silencer. Additionally, it features a red dot sight mounted at the top, enhancing accuracy significantly.

8. Shah’s Mate

Mess With Billy, Eat Nine Milly

Base Weapon Viper-5
Where To Find It Garbage

If you help Hera get his shipment back from the Brood’s boys, and spare the perpetrator, you get the location of a stash containing the Shah’s Mate.

This Viper-5 has been upgraded for faster shooting speed and comes equipped with a 40-round drum magazine. This modification makes it an ideal weapon for swiftly dealing with any vampire-like creatures that may attack, as it eliminates the lengthy reload times often associated with shotguns.

7. Lynx

The Sniper’s Wish Granter

Base Weapon SVDM-2
Where To Find It Wild Island

An elite Monolith sniper was wielding this modified Dragunov rifle during the legendary assault on the CNPP by both Strelok and the Ukrainian military. Now, you get to play with it after a quest in Noontide Base.

This Lynx outperforms the typical SVDM-2 in precision and power, largely due to an upgraded barrel. It’s ideal for tasks targeting foes sporting exoskeletons, as they tend to dismiss rifle fire, and it boasts a slick Monolith finish for an attractive look.

6. Drowned

Finders Keepers

Base Weapon AKM-74S
Where To Find It Garbage

If you’re an honest individual, make sure to hand back this weapon to its rightful owner upon entering the Slag Heap. A touch of playfulness doesn’t usually cause trouble, but remember, it’s Bandit land we’re talking about!

This dirty AKM-74S features linked magazines for quicker reloading speeds, plus an integrated GP-25 underbarrel grenade launcher. For additional benefits, consider adding a PSO-1 scope and silencer once they’re accessible.

5. Special

The Spetsnaz Fantasy

Base Weapon AKM-74U
Where To Find It Cordon

The Special model sports a traditional spetsnaz appearance, equipped with a PBS-4 silencer, a pair of linked magazines, and a Kobra red dot sight atop it.

As a devoted enthusiast, I’d like to share a fantastic find: at just 2.6kg, this versatile tool is ideal for extended expeditions where you might be carrying a substantial haul. It’s conveniently situated in the mill, nestled south of the Cordon railway bridge.

4. Glutton

When More Is More

Base Weapon RPM-74
Where To Find It Rostok

In the Zone, the versatile RPM-74 machine gun stands strong, yet someone thought even excellence wasn’t sufficient. So, they enhanced it further.

The Glutton recently acquired a fresh supply, specifically a Kobra red dot sight. Remarkably, they’re using an ammunition box from a tank-style variant of their firearm, capable of holding a staggering 244 rounds. However, it’s worth noting that this upgraded weapon is a hefty 1kg more than its original counterpart.

3. Trophy

You Can’t Improve On Perfection

Base Weapon AS Lavina
Where To Find It Chemical Plant

If you were raised on video games that took place in Eastern Europe between the late 90s and mid-2010s, chances are you hold a fondness for the AS VAL weapon, or the Lavina as it is called in STALKER 2.

The Trophy incorporates a red dot sight onto its rail, along with ergonomic enhancements achieved through generous application of tape on both the grip and barrel. Its performance is generally comparable to the standard AS Lavina, but it stands out as exceptional due to its reputation as the ideal weapon for raids.

2. Clusterfuck

Near, Far, Wherever You Are

Base Weapon AR416
Where To Find It Zaton

We love a 5.56x45mm DMR, and the Clusterfuck provides just that. This is an AR416 fitted with a silencer and a scope. If you add a laser aiming module with a technician, it becomes the perfect weapon for all ranges.

During my gaming adventures with The Three Captains side quest, I stumbled upon a hidden gem at the sniper’s nest in Zaton – a weapon so powerful it could escort me through the challenges of Pripyat without a bead of sweat! With some tweaks here and there, this beauty can handle whatever lies ahead.

1. SOFMOD

Tacticool Goodness

Base Weapon AR416
Where To Find It Zaton

If you found the AR416 insufficient for your needs, the SOFMOD should meet your expectations. This weapon appears to be tailored for experienced airsoft players, featuring a forward grip, a red dot sight, an extended barrel, and a distinctive Osprey-shaped silencer.

This gun is lying around inside the Railway Maintenance Facility in Zaton, in a building by the southern corner. The main downside here is that you cannot replace the red dot for an ACOG, but that’s easy to get over.
