As a longtime fan of the Yakuza series, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement as I delve into the latest announcement regarding the English dub for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Having grown up with these characters and their stories, it’s like reconnecting with old friends, albeit with new voices.
It’s likely that many players will opt to play the forthcoming game “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii” in its original Japanese version, as it’s common for fans of the Yakuza series to prefer this option. However, it’s worth noting that the series has always had excellent translations, and now, with a new trailer, Sega has provided some insights into the English dub of the upcoming action-adventure spinoff.
In the trailer, it’s made clear who will be playing the main characters in the game, with English voices. Matthew Mercer is back as Goro Majima, and Samoa Joe has also been confirmed to star.
