What did Malcolm Webster do?

Malcolm Webster serves time in prison, having been found guilty of killing his first spouse and attempting to take the life of his second.

In the year 1994, Malcolm ended up taking the life of his newlywed wife, Claire Morris, approximately eight months after their wedding. He obtained a lethal dose of medication from his work at a hospital where he was a nurse, and then administered it to her before causing a car accident with her in their vehicle.

Later on, Webster ignited the vehicle with her inside, but at the time of the incident, the police determined it was an unfortunate accident.

In the year 1997, Webster wedded his second spouse, Felicity Drumm, in New Zealand. Throughout their matrimony, Webster endeavored on several occasions to harm Drumm, but she was able to flee each time.

Two years into their married life, Webster faced allegations for plotting to murder Drumm, intending to illegally collect the payouts from nine insurance policies.

Following his departure from New Zealand, Webster later went back to Scotland where he established a romantic bond with the nurse, Simone Banarjee.

In a deception, Webster told Banarjee that he was terminally ill with leukemia, which prompted her to alter her will, bequeathing all of her assets to Webster.

Instead, The police gave her an Osman warning (a warning about death threats or potential murder), and she later found out that Webster planned to drown her during a boating trip after discovering the hole in her life jacket’s foil had been deliberately punctured.
