The series, adorned with artwork by Marcelo Ferreira and slated for release on April 23, 2025, chronicles Spider-Man’s efforts to maintain order in a city grappling with escalating temperatures and tensions.
As a die-hard movie buff, I can’t hide my excitement and gratitude for the chance to bring Spider-Man to life. This iconic web-slinger will now face off against the galaxy’s most formidable predators amidst the gritty urban jungle of New York City. Delving into Peter Parker’s world has been an absolute joy, and I can’t wait to infuse it with my unique twist on his relationships – particularly with MJ, Jonah Jameson, and (you bet your life) Kraven.
In simpler terms, Marvel’s new series is set during a citywide blackout caused by a heatwave in New York City, where Spider-Man is patrolling amidst rising tensions. However, beneath the grime of the city’s sewers and subways, there’s a danger that’s unlike anything Peter Parker has encountered before.
In this third part of Marvel’s collaboration with Predator, stories continue such as the chase of an invincible X-Man by an alien hunter, and another where the warrior race attacked the royal family of Wakanda. Percy praises Ferreira for his ability to portray Spider-Man visually in a captivating way, and he shares that designing a unique Predator has added enjoyment to the process.
