As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt and countless hours spent on various platforms, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation when it comes to “Cronos: The New Dawn.” Having witnessed the evolution of Bloober Team’s games from the humble beginnings of Layers of Fear to their latest offering, The Medium, I have grown fond of their unique blend of horror and intrigue.
As Cronos: The New Dawn is set to debut next year, players can look forward to enjoying it on PC and current-generation consoles. Given the high-quality visuals that developer Bloober Team aims to deliver, a Nintendo Switch port of this sci-fi survival horror game may not be feasible at this time. However, there’s a possibility that it could be released for Nintendo’s as-yet unannounced next-generation console in the future.
In a recent conversation with GamingBolt, game producer and director Jacek Zięba hinted that there might be a possibility of releasing the game “Cronos” on the Switch 2. Although he didn’t provide any definite confirmations, Zięba did not dismiss the idea either.
On the current Nintendo Switch, we’ve witnessed astonishing portability of games like The Witcher 3. Who knows what wonders await us on the next model? Let’s wait and see what the future has in store for us.
Given that Bloober Team has already launched several games on the Nintendo Switch in recent times, such as Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, and a cloud edition of The Medium, it’s reasonable to anticipate that a Switch 2 version of Cronos might be released at some stage.
