As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt and a knapsack full of virtual adventures, I can’t help but feel like Christmas came early this holiday season! 2025 is shaping up to be an absolute feast for Xbox gamers, with the lineup already looking mouthwatering.
2025 seems to be shaping up as a bustling year for Xbox, with multiple significant first-party games scheduled for release throughout the year. However, Tom Warren from The Verge hints at additional, unannounced games that Microsoft is rumored to be releasing during the same period.
Microsoft currently has several games lined up for release in 2025, including Fable, Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2, South of Midnight, DOOM: The Dark Ages, and Towerborne. However, Warren from BlueSky hinted that there are more unannounced games from Microsoft scheduled to come out in 2025 as well.
It’s been speculated that an Xbox Developer Direct event is scheduled for January, during which the alleged remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion may be revealed, with a potential release date set for 2025. Previous leaks also hint at a possible 2025 launch for Gears of War: E-Day.
