Emmerdale drops Jamie Tate return hint in early ITVX release

As a seasoned Emmerdale viewer with over two decades of soap-watching under my belt, I’ve seen more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride through Yorkshire Dales. Today’s episode had me scratching my head, wondering who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes.

At present, everyone seems to be focusing their attention on the soap opera Emmerdale, as viewers tirelessly try to figure out which characters are teaming up with Will, portrayed by Dean Andrews, and Peter, played by David Michaels.

Today’s Emmerdale gave a little hint at who Peter’s boss is – but is it correct?

As a passionate cinephile, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the moment when Will, Peter, and an enigmatic third player join forces to finally take down the formidable Kim Tate, portrayed by Claire King, for good.

You’ve got to be pretty smart to get one past wily Kim, but so far, Will’s plan is working out.

Unexpectedly, Peter dropped by as a visitor, and it wasn’t hard to see that Will didn’t plan on engaging in a lengthy conversation with him.

Peter insisted he had to chat on behalf of his boss, who needed information from Will.

However, Will was becoming weary of the hidden truths and expressed his awareness of Peter’s supervisor. He made it clear that the theatrical acts should come to an end.

He mentioned that it was Jamie Tate, the one and only individual he knew who shared a similar dislike for Kim, to approximately the same degree as Will harbored. (Alexander Lincoln portrayed this character in previous performances.)

Peter didn’t confirm or deny either way and the pair got on with business.

Is Jamie the third accomplice?

Jamie was last seen on Emmerdale in 2021 when he faked his own death in order to leave.

Initially, Kim believed he’d accidentally driven his vehicle into a lake, yet the truth was that he had moved in with his ex-wife’s mom instead.

Shortly after, Kim found out her son was actually alive, but Jamie is yet to return.
