Yet, it managed to provide a diverse assortment of games this year, drawing from its extensive library of IPs for some surprising hits. One day, feeling dissatisfied with the lackluster reception of ‘Super Princess Peach’, Nintendo took a step back, reevaluated, and chose to take action. The outcome was ‘Princess Peach: Showtime!’, where Peach transforms into various forms throughout gameplay to thwart the sorceress Grape and her Sour Bunch. With an engaging storyline, entertaining gameplay mechanics, and well-crafted level design, there’s plenty to appreciate, despite the occasional performance hiccups.
