A Ghost Story for Christmas: Woman of Stone – 10:15pm, BBC Two

This Christmas season, Mark Gatiss’ Ghost Story titled “Woman of Stone” is inspired by E Nesbit’s “Man-Size in Marble.” In this chilling tale, newlyweds played by Éanna Hardwicke and Phoebe Horn navigate a tranquil village where their peaceful existence is disrupted by their housekeeper’s eerie tales and the local legend about the church’s tomb effigies that are said to awaken on Christmas Eve.
