As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must admit that my initial foray into Moon Studios’ No Rest for the Wicked was a bit rocky. The stuttering, inventory management woes, and janky movement left me feeling more like a restless insomniac than an intrepid adventurer. However, with each subsequent patch, I’ve seen the game gradually transform into a compelling experience that’s worth my time.
This year, one of the early access games launched, Moon Studios’ “No Rest for the Wicked“, started off rocky with issues like stuttering, clunky inventory management, jerky movement, and sudden difficulty increases. But it has made notable progress following several updates. In a Steam Community post, the development team hinted at what’s in store for 2025, which includes The Breach as the next major update, followed by additional “Content and Feature updates.
Apologies for our recent silence; there’s been a whirlwind of activity at Moon Studios this year! Rest assured, we’ll be revealing all the details about it soon. Moving forward, you can expect improved and more frequent communication from us beginning in 2025, with an exciting announcement planned for January!
The game titled “No Rest for the Wicked” is currently available exclusively on PC via Steam Early Access. Console versions are in development as well. Feel free to read our review for the initial release version. Earlier, it was published by Private Division, but since its sale last month, Take-Two Interactive now holds the rights.
In addition to enhancements in battle and speed, Moon Studios’ latest significant update revamped the Cerim Crucible, incorporating fresh chambers, increased randomness for the arenas, Echoes for personalizing gameplay, and The Gloam, a novel type of adversary. Apart from The Breach, the team is also focusing on updates related to farming and other aspects.
