As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more than a few games come and go, I must say that 2024 has been quite the rollercoaster ride. The highs have been incredibly exhilarating, but the lows, oh boy, the lows have been something else entirely. And one game that stands out as a particularly disappointing low is Level Zero: Extraction from Doghowl Games.
2024 has been quite a rollercoaster, with some fantastic hits like unexpected indie sensations and highly anticipated AAA games that didn’t disappoint, but as with every year, there have been their fair share of flops too. LEVEL ZERO: EXTRACTION
Doghowl Games’ early access extraction shooter, Level Zero: Extraction, started off with a promising concept, but has been marred by substantial gameplay and balance problems since its launch. Despite the potential for improvement, the direction it has taken so far hasn’t been positive. Over time, updates from the developer have not been well-received by players, causing some to question the game’s long-term prospects.
