As a lifelong Whovian who has weathered the TARDIS storm since the days of Tom Baker, I must say that this latest Doctor Who season 15 teaser has me absolutely giddy with excitement! The prospect of Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor teaming up with Varada Sethu’s Belinda Chandra is a tantalizing one, and the return of Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday alongside UNIT promises to add even more depth to the already rich tapestry of the show.
What we hoped for most at Christmas was an extraordinary Doctor Who special, and not only did we receive it, but there was even a sneak peek of Season 15 revealed as well!
The epic new teaser sees the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) team up with new companion Belinda Chandra (played by Varada Sethu).
As a devoted movie buff, I can’t help but share my excitement over catching a sneak peek of Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), the ex-TARDIS traveler, reappearing on the scene, along with UNIT, following her moving guest appearance in the 2024 holiday special titled Joy to the World.
As a film enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a thrill when I catch a glimpse of the latest developments suggesting the resurgence of the malevolent Pantheon of Discord. The Doctor’s ominous words about “cosmic forces” engaging in “lethal” power plays only serve to heighten my anticipation for what’s to come!

The next season of Doctor Who is expected to air in spring 2025.
It’s been reported that Jonah Hauer-King is set to join the cast, playing Ruby Sunday’s romantic interest. Additionally, Archie Panjabi will be introduced as a fresh, antagonistic character.
Previously on the show, Millie Gibson’s character Ruby exited the TARDIS in moving scenes at the end of season 14. However, it was earlier revealed by showrunner Russell T Davies that she will be coming back to the series, joining our latest time-traveling team.
In the latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine, it was made clear by showrunner Russell Davies that no less than six diverse authors will contribute to the upcoming series.
He’s been rather secretive about the specific episodes, but he did express his enthusiasm for episode 6 of the upcoming season. At a BAFTA gathering, he shared his anticipation, saying, “There’s one coming up next year where I specifically requested, ‘I want this movie blended with that concept,’ and it turned out to be our best episode yet!
In the year ahead, don’t miss out on Episode 6! Believe me, it’s going to be a laugh-out-loud experience. Trust me, it’s full of humor!
