As someone who’s spent countless hours in the desolate wastelands of Chernobyl, I can confidently say that the RPG-7U rocket launcher in Stalker 2 is the ultimate tool for making my day (or night) a little bit brighter. If you’re like me and enjoy nothing more than watching things explode in a spectacular fashion, then this guide is just what the Stalker ordered!
In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, there isn’t a challenge that can’t be met by detonating things, at least according to the game. If you enjoy obliterating adversaries and mutants with explosions, then the RPG-7U rocket launcher is the ultimate weapon for you. It surpasses conventional grenade launchers in power and boasts a broader area of effect (AOE). In Stalker 2, there are two primary spots where you can acquire the RPG-7U. Let’s explore both locations using this guide.
How to Get the RPG-7U Rocket Launcher from Wild Island
In Stalker 2, the initial spot where you can acquire an RPG-7U rocket launcher is the Wild Island region. This destination is quite accessible; simply follow the path northwards straight from the Shelter base.
When you get to the location indicated on the map, you’ll find yourself in a field with towering barrels stacked high. Begin by leaping onto the first row from the left, then jump to the taller pile situated at the center of the field. You’ll notice an RPG-7U rocket launcher nestled among the central pile; feel free to grab it.
The launcher is broken and will need to be repaired by a technician to be properly usable again. However, if you don’t want to spend precious coupons to repair the weapon, try the second location below.
How to Get the RPG-7U Rocket Launcher from Clear Sky Base
In Stalker 2, the spot where you can acquire an RPG-7U rocket launcher is the Clear Sky Base, which is nestled in the southeastern part of the map within the Swamps region. This area is a significant point during your journey for the Ad Astra Per Aspera main mission.
Upon arriving at the base, head to the dilapidated structures to your left, then navigate towards a green door. Unfortunately, this door is barricaded with wooden planks; you’ll need to find a means of breaking through them. Circumvent the building in a counterclockwise direction and locate a window from which you can fire at the barricade to open the green door.
Upon entering the building, you’ll spot a RPG-7U rocket launcher on a table, accompanied by an additional missile nearby. The launcher appears to be in pristine condition with a full durability level of 100%, making it ready for immediate use in Stalker 2 without any complications or malfunctions.
