As a long-time fan who has journeyed through countless worlds and battles in Falcom’s captivating titles, this news is like finding a hidden treasure map! With the release schedule for 2025 shaping up to be a veritable treasure trove of epic adventures, it seems that Falcom is determined to make my gaming life even more enriching.
It’s been announced through a recent investor presentation by Falcom, as reported by Nikkei, that they will be releasing an unannounced title for the PlayStation 5 in Japan during 2025 without any prior announcement.
Apart from its previously unveiled releases scheduled for 2025, including “Ys X: Proud Nordics,” “Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter,” and a Nintendo Switch adaptation of “Ys: Memories of Celceta” are also on the list.
Falcom also shared an updated list of recently released and upcoming titles:

- Editor’s Note: This should be Ys: Memories of Celceta, which was revealed as coming in spring 2025 in Japan at Falcom’s recent investors meeting. Although this is not labeled as a port, the Switch versions of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak and The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II are also not labeled as ports.
