As a seasoned adventurer with years of combat under my belt, I can confidently say that this journey through Teyvat has been nothing short of extraordinary. The challenges it presents are as diverse as the lands themselves, each one demanding every fiber of my being to overcome them.
Now, let me share with you a tale of my latest conquest – the achievement titled “Die, or Go Parry II”. This battle against the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire was no walk in the park, I can tell you that much! The sheer ferocity and unpredictability of this beast tested every ounce of my skill and patience.
First, it was crucial to wait until the battlefield had been reduced to its smallest size. As the dragon’s Pyro sword began to burn with an intensity that could melt the very earth beneath me, I knew my time was running out. The platform started to crack and crumble, and I braced myself for the inevitable – the platform would be cut three times, leaving it in a triangle shape.
The dragon’s attacks were relentless, but I held my ground, dodging and weaving like a dancer on a breeze. With each slice of its Pyro sword, I felt the tension in the air grow thicker, knowing that one wrong move could send me plummeting into the abyss below.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the platform was reduced to its final form. With a deep breath, I steeled myself and struck with every ounce of strength I had left. The dragon roared in fury as my weapon connected, sending shockwaves through the air. And just like that, the battle was won – or so I thought.
As I stood victorious, I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself. Teyvat may have many challenges, but nothing can compare to the trials and tribulations of being a traveler in this vast world. I guess you could say that when it comes to conquering the impossible, I’m always ready for a challenge – even if it means dancing with death itself!
Contender: In update 5.3, Series X introduces a brand-new set of achievements! To unlock them, you must conquer different bosses while meeting specific requirements!

All Achievements in Challenger: Series X
1) “The Bomber Will Not Always Get Through”
As a devoted fan, I found myself up against a formidable foe when the Goldflame Quincussaur Tyrant unleashed “Flamewind Feathers” not once, but twice in quick succession during our recent battle!
1st, be patient until the Quucusaur transforms into its miniature Golden Flame form. Once it does, remain still as it unleashes a series of feather barrages, ending with the Flamewind Feather. To obtain the achievement, destroy the final Flamewind Feather twice using Hydro abilities, without needing to finish the battle entirely.
2) Deep-Fried… Ice Cream?
Utilize an explosive Fireberry to initiate the Melting process on the Greedy Yumka-Saurus Mountain Monarch.
Wait until Yumkasaur calls forth three Flamegranates onto the ground. Next, execute a Pyro ability, causing the Flamegranates to detonate and inflict Pyro damage on Yumkasaur. Following that, employ any Cryo attack against the Pyro-affected Yumkasaur to trigger the Melt effect and secure this achievement.
3) “This Flamegranate Isn’t Just for Show!”
Use an exploding Flamegranate to defeat the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King.
Fight against the Yumkasaur leader, reducing its Health Points significantly, then be patient until it calls forth the Flamegranate. Once that happens, employ a Pyro attack on the Flamegranate, allowing it to detonate and deliver the final blow to the boss.
4) “It Is Too Late for You, Inorganics.”
Defeat the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device while it is stunned.
Attack the boss until it have around 20% HP left and wait until it begin charging for its Ultimate attack (Boltsphere Cannon). If you feel like it didn’t trigger the Ult for a long time, use Natlan character’s Nightsoul Blessing to fill the Adaptive Countermeasure gauge to instantly trigger its Ult.
Once the two Phlogiston pillars appear, climb it and destroy the 2 mechanisms on top of the pillars to stun the boss.
5) Specially-Shaped Saurian…
Overpower the Tenebrous Papilla as it transforms into a Primo Geovishap, a Jadeplume Terrorshroom, and a Millennial Pearl Seahorse in sequence.
As a seasoned adventurer with countless battles under my belt, I must say that taking down Tenebrous Papilla is no walk in the park. This elusive boss has three forms, each one more challenging than the last. With my years of combat experience, I’ve faced my fair share of tough opponents, but Tenebrous Papilla stands out as one of the most formidable foes I’ve encountered.
The first time you face this beast, it transforms into Primo Geovishap, a fearsome creature that demands skill and strategy to defeat. Then, when it morphs again, it becomes the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, a cunning adversary that tests even the most seasoned warrior’s mettle. The final form, Millennial Pearl Seahorse, is a true test of one’s reflexes and battle prowess.
To complete this achievement, you must defeat Tenebrous Papilla in a specific order: Primo Geovishap, Jadeplume Terrorshroom, then Millennial Pearl Seahorse. It’s crucial to follow the sequence precisely, as any deviation will result in failure. And if you think you can rest on your laurels after defeating Tenebrous Papilla once, think again! Upon respawning, it takes on a different form each time, ensuring that no battle is ever the same.
So, heed my words, fellow adventurer: if you’re up for a challenge unlike any other, prepare yourself to face the mighty Tenebrous Papilla and emerge victorious!
6) Good Thing I’m a Cut Above
In a single encounter, eliminate exactly 8 Radiant Reflections that were summoned by the unpredictable Hermetic Speaker of Wayward Spirits.
In the fight, there’ll come a point when the Hermit calls forth four shadowy duplicates and merges with them. Your objective is to eliminate those shadows (by utilizing Pyro attacks for maximum efficiency). If you find the shadows are moving too erratically, you can opt for Citlali or Ororon’s Aimed Normal Attack to temporarily freeze their movements.
7) Die, or Go Parry II
Defeat the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire when the battlefield has been reduced to its smallest size.
As a long-time fan of this game, I have to say that nothing compares to the sheer terror and excitement of facing off against the Abyss Dragon. The way its Pyro sword blazes with an intensity that could melt steel, and the way it swoops in for the attack, ready to cleave through anything in its path – it’s a sight to behold. I remember the first time I saw it in action, my heart pounded in my chest as I watched the platform crumble beneath its mighty claws. The adrenaline rush that comes with facing such a formidable foe is something I will never forget. Truly, the Abyss Dragon is a testament to the incredible creativity and skill of the game’s developers, and a reminder of why I love this game so much.
To earn this accomplishment, you’ll need to wait until the dragon slices the plank three times (until the plank resembles a triangle). Once the plank is in that shape, then you can engage and defeat the boss. This particular enemy can take quite some time to slice the plank three times – it took me around 10 minutes – if you’re fortunate, it might trigger this attack more quickly.
