As a long-time Dragon Ball enthusiast who has been following this series since the days of the original Dragon Ball Z, I must say that the latest installment, Daima, is truly living up to my expectations! The twelfth episode was a thrilling rollercoaster ride filled with epic battles, new transformations, and a dash of humor that only Akira Toriyama can deliver.
Being a fan who has weathered the storms of hiatuses, I’m glad that this break is not too lengthy, considering it’s due to Japan celebrating the New Year. It reminds me of those times when we used to wait patiently for the next episode after a long holiday break, making do with reruns or speculating wildly about what might happen next.
I’m particularly intrigued by the upcoming battle against the giant demonic hamsters in the 13th episode. I mean, who would have thought that such an oddity could pose a threat to our beloved Z-Fighters? It just goes to show you that even in the Demon Realm, anything is possible!
As for the future of Dragon Ball, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we might get some exciting news about Dragon Ball Super’s anime comeback once Daima concludes. If Goku and the Z-Fighters can collect all three Demon Realm Dragon Balls, who knows what kind of chaos they could unleash in the Moro Arc or Granolah The Survivor Arc?
In closing, I’d like to share a little joke that I came up with while waiting for the next episode: Why don’t Saiyans ever play hide-and-seek? Because good luck hiding when you’re always shining so brightly!
In one of the most significant episodes yet in the Dragon Ball Daima series, two Tamagami were vanquished by the Z-Fighters, Dr. Anisu introduced his new Majin minions, and Vegeta debuted his Super Saiyan 3 form for the first time. With all the Tamagami now seemingly defeated, it seems that a confrontation between our heroes and villains in the Demon Realm is imminent. However, fans of the anime will have to hold their breath a bit longer than usual as Daima is currently on hiatus. Fortunately, this break isn’t permanent, and we won’t be waiting too long to find out if Goku and the Z-Fighters manage to collect all three Demon Realm Dragon Balls.
2025 marks the “Year of the Snake” in Japan, and both anime enthusiasts and those who aren’t are celebrating the New Year with enthusiasm. Numerous manga artists have posted new artwork on social media, depicting their characters adorned as reptiles, riding enormous snakes, or simply enjoying a grand celebration. This trend has temporarily paused the ongoing fights in Toei Animation’s latest anime series, but this break won’t last for too long.

When Will Daima Return?
The thirteenth episode of “Dragon Ball Super” will be aired on TV screens starting January 10th, where Goku, Vegeta, and their companions continue their journey in the Demon Realm. A sneak peek at the upcoming installment reveals Goku squaring off against some peculiar adversaries that seem to be enormous demonic hamsters. Despite the series’ earlier episodes featuring grand battles, it’s evident that “Dragon Ball Super” also leans on Akira Toriyama’s humor for key moments in the storyline.
According to reports, the upcoming series, “Dragon Ball Daima,” is said to have a total of 20 episodes. If this information is accurate, we’ve already passed the halfway point in this new installment for the Z-Fighters. With the Dragon Ball Super manga resuming publication in Weekly Shonen Jump next month, fans of shonen genre are eagerly waiting for updates about the possible return of the anime. The Moro Arc and Granolah The Survivor Arc might offer multiple seasons of chaos in Dragon Ball, so let’s hope that when Daima concludes, we’ll get news on the future of the franchise.
