Marvel Legends X-Men Nemesis BAF Wave Launches January 9th

Kicking off 2025, Hasbro is releasing a massive expansion for the Marvel Legends collection. This coming Thursday, January 9th, will mark the debut of a new X-Men themed Build-A-Figure wave. The wave consists of figures such as Age of Apocalypse’s Gambit, X-Force’s Nightcrawler, X-Factor’s Cyclops, Marrow, Generation X’s Husk, Acolytes’ Fabian Cortez, and X-Treme’s Wolverine. Each figure will come with a piece necessary to assemble Apocalypse’s son, Nemesis/Genocide/Holocaust, except possibly Wolverine. Here are the details:

– Gambit (Age of Apocalypse)
– Nightcrawler (X-Force)
– Cyclops (X-Factor)
– Marrow
– Husk (Generation X)
– Fabian Cortez (Acolytes)
– Wolverine (X-Treme)

Dan Yun from Hasbro mentions a “strong likelihood” that the upcoming Marvel Legends series might only be accessible online, through Amazon and retailers like Entertainment Earth. So, if you’re interested in pre-ordering, make sure to stay alert and prepared, as the pre-orders will become available on January 9th at 10am PT / 1pm ET. The BAF Nemesis from this set is unquestionably cool, making it difficult to resist purchasing the six figures required to assemble it. Luckily, all of the figures are fantastic. Gambit, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Wolverine are sure to be highly sought after, but we’re particularly thrilled about Marrow and Husk being included in this series. The badass BAF Nemesis in the latest set is hard to resist because you need six figures to assemble it. All the figures are great, but Gambit, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Wolverine will likely be popular. However, we’re excited about Marrow and Husk being part of this collection.   • X-Force Nightcrawler: Includes interchangeable heads, hands and a sword
  • X-Factor Cyclops: Includes multiple headsculpts and an optic blast effect
  • Generation X Husk: Includes interchangeable heads and hands as well as a chunk of flash that you can use to make it appear as though she’s peeling her face off.
  • Acolytes Fabian Cortez: Includes FX pieces and alternate hands
  • Marrow: Includes bone swords and alternate hands

Pre-orders for the Marvel Legends BAF Nemesis wave are set to start on January 9th, both at Entertainment Earth and Amazon. While Hasbro hasn’t confirmed it yet, there’s a strong possibility that this wave might be exclusive to fans through these channels. To avoid missing out, consider placing your pre-order online early. Also, remember that shipping within the US is free on orders over $79 at Entertainment Earth, and it wouldn’t be unusual if a case option were made available.
