Doctor Who adds Supacell and Noughts & Crosses writer for season 15

It’s been announced that Sharma Walfall is now part of the writing staff for Doctor Who, and it’s said that she has written an episode slated for the upcoming season.

Based on information from her agency’s listing and a tweet by @set_dw, it appears that Walfall collaborated with Russell T Davies in writing the third episode of Season 15. This untitled episode within the Bad Wolf returning fantasy series has been tentatively titled “Five Miles Deep.

Walfall is a distinguished author, boasting credits from Noughts & Crosses, Dreamland, Renegade Nell, and most recently, the series Supacell on Netflix.

According to Doctor Who Magazine’s latest edition, Russell T Davies has revealed that six distinct authors will contribute to the upcoming series.

As a movie reviewer, I can’t spill all the beans about the content of upcoming episodes, but let me tell you, I’m thrilled for episode 6 of the new season! At a recent BAFTA event, I couldn’t help but share my enthusiasm, saying something along the lines of, “There’s one coming up next year that I specifically requested to blend elements from two different films, and it turned out to be our best episode yet!

Once again, specifics about the upcoming Doctor Who season remain a secret, yet the unveiling of a teaser trailer and the gradual reveal of the cast ignites a wave of anticipation among fans.

In a holiday season launch, the first sneak peek showcases The Doctor, portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa, joining forces with the latest companion, Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu.

The trailer additionally provided a sneak peek at the reappearance of Ruby Sunday (played by Millie Gibson), joining forces with UNIT, while the Doctor issued a warning about “forces outside our universe” engaging in “lethal contests”.
