Sony is planning to give a fresh look to some of its existing PlayStation 5 accessories by introducing a new color option – Midnight Black. This revamp will affect various accessories such as the PS Portal, DualSense Edge controller, the Pulse Elite headset, and the Pulse Explore earbuds.
The new variations of our product will become available for pre-purchase on January 16th, 2025. The accessories themselves will follow about a month later on February 20th, 2025. Last year towards the end, there were rumors circulating that Sony would update their PS5 accessory line, with leaker BillBil-Kun being one of the sources. Alongside this, a report also suggested a Helldivers 2 themed PS5 controller. As it turns out, the Helldivers 2 themed controller was indeed unveiled, and now Sony has confirmed that their range of PS5 accessories will be available in Midnight Black color.
