Spy x Family Creator Unveils Official Studio Ghibli Crossover Art

The popular anime series “Spy x Family” is gearing up for its long-awaited third season later this year, picking up where the Forger family’s covert operations left off. With excitement building among fans, Studios CloverWorks and Wit are hard at work on new episodes, while manga creator Tatsuya Endo continues to release fresh installments of the series. Interestingly, like many Japanese mangaka, Endo is a devoted fan of Studio Ghibli and the works of director Hayao Miyazaki. In an official collaboration, Endo has given us a unique take on the beloved story “Kiki’s Delivery Service.

Although Kiki’s Delivery Service didn’t receive an Academy Award like other renowned Studio Ghibli productions such as The Boy And The Heron and Spirited Away, it continues to be one of the most cherished films from the studio. Kiki is a young witch who chooses to employ her magical abilities for delivering packages instead of weaving dark spells or attempting world domination. The film is an adaptation of a novel by Eiko Kadono that was published three years prior, and it remains one of the most endearing anime films ever made.
