When asked to suggest a pre-built gaming PC, I typically begin by advocating for MAINGEAR. Throughout my years of testing various models, I’ve consistently been left with a strong positive impression regarding build quality, assembly, and customer support. These computers are crafted by hand in New Jersey, and the distinction between mass-produced setups is immediately noticeable.
MAINGEAR has always provided a variety of ready-made models alongside a flexible customization tool for selecting components in your PC. Although their current offerings are appealing, they pale in comparison to the newly unveiled APEX FORCE and APEX RUSH from MAINGEAR at CES 2025.
The official launch date and final price have not been announced yet, but if you’d like to secure an early spot in the queue for when these computers become available, you can place a fully refundable $100 deposit.
MAINGEAR’s new APEX gaming PCs push pre-built limits
The latest addition to MAINGEAR’s APEX series, the FORCE, represents a fresh, never-before-seen design within their collection, distinct from the updated RUSH model and any previous designs.
As a devoted enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that my build is housed in a spacious Phanteks NV9 full-tower case, boasting generous tempered glass side panels and edge illumination for an elegant touch. Inside, it accommodates not one, but two 420mm radiators (each a sturdy 60mm thick). Keeping everything cool is a trio of 140mm fans.
As an observer, I find myself in the presence of a system where the radiators are intricately connected to MAINGEAR’s bespoke dual-cooling systems. Interestingly, there are two distinct cooling loops, one dedicated to the CPU and another for the GPU. To be honest, it appears somewhat excessive, but I can’t help but appreciate it, given that these computers will undeniably boast NVIDIA’s groundbreaking RTX 5000 GPUs and the most recent CPUs from Intel and AMD.

Adjusting and fine-tuning a personalized cooling system can be challenging, but with its convenient access panel for drain valves near the pump, the FORCE simplifies this process as much as possible. True to MAINGEAR’s tradition, it provides numerous customization choices for tubing materials, color, fittings, sleeves, and various other options.
At CES 2024, we highlighted MAINGEAR’s unique MG-RC technology, which streamlines many motherboard cable connections to the rear of the board for a sleeker appearance when viewed from the side (through glass panels). MAINGEAR provided me with pictures showcasing a system they built featuring red and blue coolant with silver piping. However, it’s essential to note that all aspects can be tailored to personal preferences.
Here’s a look at the specs going into the FORCE and its RUSH sibling.

Shifting focus towards the upcoming APEX RUSH, it reappears with a Lian-Li O11 EVO RGB mid-tower chassis, boasting tempered glass panels on both front and sides for an expansive view of its internal components. This stunning case can be further enhanced by MAINGEAR’s personalized artwork options, including the Cyber Gamer, Good Fortune, and Vaporwave Drive designs. However, there are also more conventional designs available with black cases. Similar to the APEX FORCE, you have the flexibility to customize the colors and materials used in the custom cooling loop.
The APEX RUSH features a single liquid cooling system that targets both the CPU and GPU. This system is cooled by two 360mm radiators, each equipped with three 120mm fans, and an additional rear intake fan ensures positive pressure to minimize dust accumulation within. For those looking to adjust their loop, convenient access panels are provided to cover the pump and drain components.
As a researcher, I’m thrilled to share that the configuration of my APEX RUSH comes equipped with the latest hardware offerings from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA. Moreover, MAINGEAR provides an impressive storage solution, offering up to 8TB of blazing-fast M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and a whopping 96GB of cutting-edge DDR5 RAM for memory-intensive tasks.
Sure thing!
MAINGEAR has not specified an exact release date or price as of now, but you have the option to reserve your spot by paying a refundable deposit of $100.
