Currently, PlayStation Productions appears to be operating at a brisk pace, with their workload noticeably increased following the multiple game adaptation announcements made during CES 2025. One title we had prior knowledge of was an Until Dawn movie, but fresh details suggest that this film won’t strictly follow the plotline of the original game.
The connection between the game and the movie will solely come from Peter Stormare, who will once again play Dr. Hill. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Stormare hinted at the upcoming horror film, which he described as being set within the Until Dawn universe but boasting a fresh storyline and a new cast of characters.
The movie boasts a brand new ensemble of actors, such as Ella Rubin, Maia Mitchell, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, and Odessa A’zion. It is being helmed by David F. Sandberg, who has previously directed Shazam!, Lights Out, and Annabelle: Creation.
As the movie is scheduled for release in April, we can expect to witness trailers and marketing materials within the next few weeks. Now that we know it isn’t just a remake, our curiosity has been piqued as we eagerly await to discover what this film offers.
