Stephen “tWitch” Boss‘ family and friends are taking issue with his widow Allison Holker.

Approximately two years and a few months following the tragic suicide of the star on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in December 2022, his wife of nine years – with whom he had children Weslie (age 16), Maddox (8), and Zaia (5) – is planning to publish her memoir titled “This Far.” In this book, she will openly discuss various aspects of their shared life, such as Stephen’s struggles with drug addiction.

However, some close to Stephen, specifically his brother Dré Rose and friend Courtney Ann Platt, raised doubts about Allison’s disclosures, particularly her tell-all book and subsequent interviews where she discussed Stephen’s drug addiction and findings after his passing at the age of 40.

Courtney posted on Instagram on January 7th, “When it comes to conflict, I always go directly to the source and take care of business. Normally, I remain silent about such matters, but since there seems to be no embarrassment in being so open, I’m breaking my silence after two years.

As someone who had the privilege of witnessing the significant milestones in their relationship, I can honestly say that this couple was not just connected or tied together; they were deeply intertwined, sharing an everlasting bond.

Following her January 7th interview with People magazine, the fitness trainer expressed that what she had witnessed was “the most tacky, classless, opportunistic act I have ever encountered in my lifetime.” She claimed that for family members to attend Stephen’s funeral, they were required to sign a peculiar nondisclosure agreement. Furthermore, she stated that Allison has been treating Stephen’s mother poorly throughout the entire time since his passing.

Courtney expressed disagreement with the anecdotes Allison plans to include in her memoir, stating that the book unnecessarily exposes their personal matters and tarnishes Stephen’s reputation by trying to cast a shadow on the bright, loyal, and loving image of your husband, my friend.

Courtney expressed, “You operate like a relentless construction vehicle, focusing on your own struggles. It’s disheartening, Courtney, especially considering your team seems more interested in making money. I wish for my friend to rest peacefully, not for your public image.

Apart from that, he additionally shared an Instagram story posted by Katie Paulson, where she labeled Allison as “shameful” and “abhorrent” for such actions towards a mourning family.

TopMob News has reached out to Allison’s rep for comment but has not heard back.

Since Stephen’s passing, Dre has openly spoken about the challenges his family and he have encountered on his social media platforms. He even posted an Instagram message in August 2023, where he talked about the non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) that his family claims they were asked to sign.

In his post, although Allison wasn’t explicitly named, he did refer to his nieces and nephews when expressing his worry. He wrote, “It’s troubling to observe that my late brother’s children seem to be entangled in adult conflicts, unintentionally used as tools for such disputes.

I’ve observed a concerning gap in our discussions about the kids’ activities and their overall wellness, which I find disappointing. It’s troubling to see that their time spent with their grandmother, as well as with extended family members, has seemingly decreased significantly.

Regarding Allison, who was a contestant on “So You Think You Can Dance,” she hasn’t spoken out about the accusations directly but rather has been concentrating on the release of her book scheduled for February 4 and reminiscing about her personal experiences with Stephen.

She shared with People magazine, “I’ve been incredibly lucky to have access to resources that have assisted me, and now I’m working in partnership with them. What I’ve discovered is there are numerous other resources out there that many people aren’t aware of. Since then, I’ve received countless messages from individuals seeking advice, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that mental health issues can affect anyone at any stage of life.

He wondered where the time had gone, when his child grew so tall, smart, capable and self-reliant. It seemed to happen too fast, but he couldn’t be more proud of the positive impact his son continues to make in the world. Additionally, he noted that his son was teaching him valuable lessons about being a better father and person each day, while he also tried to guide him. This, he said, created a beautiful cycle of learning and growth.
