As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the wait for Season 2 of “The Last of Us” on HBO is getting even shorter! Originally slated for this Spring, they’ve now narrowed it down further, confirming our beloved series will hit our screens in April. To add to the excitement, a fresh teaser has been unveiled. You can catch a glimpse of it right here below.
The preview offers brief glances at various scenes and locations reminiscent of those experienced in “The Last of Us Part 2,” such as the hospital in Seattle where Ellie pursues Abby. It’s worth noting that Abby, portrayed by Kaitlyn Dever, is prominently featured in this trailer as well.
Previously announced, the second season of “The Last of Us” will be composed of seven episodes instead of the first season’s full run. This new season will focus on a portion of the events depicted in “The Last of Us Part 2”.
Alongside Pedro Pascal (as Joel), Bella Ramsey (Ellie), Gabriel Luna (Tommy), and Rutina Wesley (Marie) returning to their roles, the show will introduce a larger cast featuring Abby (played by Merle Dandridge), Jesse (portrayed by Young Mazino), Dina (Isabela Merced), and others. Jeffrey Wright is set to portray Isaac, a role he previously played in the game too.
