The second season of anime “Solo Leveling” has arrived and is already shattering records on Crunchyroll, surpassing the series premiere which famously overwhelmed the streaming service’s servers. However, the manga version of the story, known as “manwha,” is facing some serious hurdles. Unfortunately, an accident involving the writer Daul has caused delays in the release of the next chapter of “Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.” This update will no doubt disappoint many fans eagerly awaiting the sequel series, but everyone is hoping for a swift recovery for the author.
In case you missed it, “Solo Leveling: Ragnarok” is a new series based on Jinwoo’s original storyline, centering around Sung Suho, the protagonist’s son. As he seeks to discover more about his father’s exploits, Sung has quite a challenge ahead in his own adventures. Unfortunately, due to an accident while walking, the author of the series sustained non-critical injuries that have delayed the release of the next sequel chapter. The eagerly anticipated continuation will now be available on January 31st.

The web novel series “Solo Leveling” is being published by D&C Media, under their “Papyrus” label. Recently, they’ve shared the reason for the prolonged break in updates, disclosing that the author, Daul, required additional medical treatment due to his injuries. Here’s the message they shared with fans of the franchise:
After careful evaluation following his hospital stay, the doctor determined additional care was required, which means that the release date for “Solo Leveling: Ragnarok” has been pushed back to January 31st. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Thank you.
Solo Leveling’s Current Series Vs. Sequel
Though the manhwa “Solo Leveling” has concluded its narrative, character Jinwoo Sung is set for more adventures in the anime version. Given the hurdles yet to be overcome, it appears that A-1 Pictures may have multiple seasons ahead, contingent on how well the anime adaptation aligns with its source material. Given the popularity of “Solo Leveling,” there’s a strong possibility that “Ragnarok” will eventually receive an anime adaptation when Jinwoo’s story as the “world’s worst hunter” reaches its end.
