The wait for the next major installment in the “Tomb Raider” series persists, and while we’re unsure how long this delay will last, fans can at least anticipate revisiting some cherished classics. Following the release of the remastered versions of “Tomb Raider 1-3,” Aspyr is gearing up for the arrival of the remastered editions of “Tomb Raider 4-6.” This upcoming collection promises an upgraded version of the series’ second trilogy. Recently, additional details have emerged about the technical aspects of this collection.
In an interview with GamingBolt, Aspyr’s Brand Manager, Matthew Ray, shared that the remastered versions of Tomb Raider 4-6 will offer a smooth gaming experience on both PS5 and Xbox Series X, running at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. On the Xbox Series S, gamers can anticipate playing at a resolution of 1440p and still enjoying a consistent 60 FPS. Given that these are remasters of games from an earlier era, it’s reassuring to know that the collection will meet high performance expectations, particularly on advanced hardware, ensuring a satisfying experience for players.
The remastered versions of Tomb Raider 4 to 6 are set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Valentine’s Day (February 14). The price at retail will be $29.99.
