2025’s CES will showcase Razer’s most peculiar design ideas. Last year, they presented the haptic gaming chair, and this time around, their cutting-edge innovation in seating technology takes the shape of a temperature-adjustable gaming chair. Allow me to introduce Project Arielle, a conceptual mesh chair that can either cool you off or warm you up more effectively than the Xbox Series S toaster. It’s also equipped with RGB lighting, as one might expect from Razer.
A butt of ice and fire
At CES 2025, the innovative Project Arielle was introduced as a “gaming chair that combines heating and cooling functions.” Featuring a fanless system similar to Dyson fans, built into the Razer Fujin Pro, the cooling mechanism operates quietly, is convenient to clean, and provides three adjustable settings to lower the temperature around you by roughly 35.6°F to 41°F (2°C to 5°C) in low humidity conditions.
To increase the temperature, whether it’s during a chilly winter or while seeking a fiery experience in the Minecraft Nether, the seat employs PTC heaters capable of heating it to approximately 86 degrees Fahrenheit (or 30 degrees Celsius) whenever desired.
Instead of controlling the chair through a modern touchscreen on its right side, it’d be more exciting if it adjusted automatically based on in-game temperature changes.
As a fan, I’m thrilled about the enhanced aesthetics of the Fujin Pro by Razer. They’ve cleverly integrated RGB lighting around the chair, not just for visual appeal, but also to serve a functional purpose. The lighting changes to indicate whether the chair is set to warming or cooling mode, making it even more user-friendly and visually stunning!
Where can I buy Project Arielle?
The product, known as Project Arielle, isn’t available for purchase just yet. Razer hasn’t disclosed its launch date or price. Nevertheless, it garnered quite a bit of attention at the CES 2025 exhibition, with numerous attendees expressing interest in taking a seat and relaxing their tired feet.
It seems to me that a temperature-regulated chair would be more popular and useful than last year’s Project Esther, the haptic gaming chair. This is especially true given that I’m typing here with an electric blanket keeping me warm. If you’ve ever appreciated a heated car seat during a cold winter day, you’ll swiftly grasp the allure of this! For more information on Project Arielle, please visit Razer’s website.
