Jessica Alba Compared Her & Cash Warren to “Roommates” Before Breakup

Jessica Alba was honest about the realities of marriage ahead of her breakup with Cash Warren.

In light of reports suggesting their impending divorce, a past interview given by the actress from “Honey” in 2024 has resurfaced, offering a frank perspective on the state of their marriage.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “For approximately two and a half years, things were smooth sailing. However, beyond that point, it feels more like living with a roommate. You’re just going through daily routines, fulfilling responsibilities, almost as if you’re checking off tasks on a list.

Additionally, she candidly shared that juggling the responsibilities of being a mother to three children, including daughters Honor (age 16) and Haven (age 13), as well as son Hayes (age 7), while maintaining her professional career and business frequently placed her relationship with Cash on the back burner.

She mused, “I believe it’s not just him who receives the lesser share, but rather both of us. Because when I’m with him and our time together is pleasant, it feels more like a shared experience that benefits us mutually.

She mentioned, “Every Wednesday used to be our ‘date night.’ We would set aside time each week for this, at least. We wouldn’t use our phones, just talk. However, this routine faded away. Now, we lack consistency in maintaining it.

In addition to being 43 years old, she emphasized the significance of open communication, avoiding the buildup of issues until they erupt. However, she playfully added that, having been a couple for 17 years, they allow such explosions to occur as well.

Jessica expressed that her bond with Cash is a strong, unwavering one, like knowing they won’t leave each other. This can sometimes lead to not treating them as well as we should or not considering their feelings as much as we do for others. She believes this is something she always needs to improve.

Since they got married in 2008, after meeting on the set of “Fantastic Four” in 2004, this isn’t the sole glimpse into the relationship between Jessica and Cash that we’re getting a peek at.

For his part, Cash had previously spoken to the depth of their bond.

He mentioned during their 2021 conversation on the ‘Works for Us’ podcast that any topic was up for discussion between them,” he said. “They could relax together, share a laugh, even argue – it was like the bond of true friends, built on trust.

And Jessica, too, spoke to the longevity of their relationship.
