As a fan, I was so excited to see the characters from the old Netflix shows make their way to Disney+! But what really got me hyped was that the new series kept one of the best parts of Daredevil – those incredible, long-take fight scenes. We saw it again in the third episode of Season 2, “The Scales & the Sword.” It was amazing watching Daredevil single-handedly free all the prisoners and get them to safety, away from Wilson Fisk’s team. It felt like a direct nod to the Netflix series and it was brilliantly done!

Although Bowser was the primary villain in the first movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie featured an even more unhinged antagonist: Bowser Jr. This young Koopa prince commands a larger Bowser’s Army, setting out to rescue Bowser, who Mario had reduced in size and captured at the end of the previous film. Bowser Jr.’s forces are incredibly frightening to the Mushroom Kingdom, but a different group of characters could have raised the stakes even higher.
