Now that we’ve made it through most of January, it’s time to bid farewell to the frequent use of those familiar phrases: “Happy New Year.” With this month almost behind us, you won’t be seeing that greeting much longer – and that’s certainly something to be grateful for!

After completing the entire first season of the series in one day, I’ve moved on to my 10th playthrough of The Last of Us: Part 1. Yes, you heard it right – the tenth! I’m aiming to have my first consecutive play-through of both The Last of Us: Part 1 and its remastered sequel, The Last of Us: Part 2, prior to the show’s second season premiering in April.

I’ve connected both my PS3 and PS4 to the same television, which allows me to enjoy the January 2025 offering from PS Plus Essential on my PS4, specifically Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. At the same time, I’ll have the 2010 original disc of the game from my PS3. This setup gives me an illusion that Criterion created a new Chase H.Q. game.

For the next couple of days, I won’t have access to my PlayStation 5, so I’ll pass the time by playing my favorite smartphone games instead.

I’m making steady progress with Hitman, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Right now, I’m nearing the end of the second game’s storyline, so my plan is to finish that up by this weekend. Afterward, I’ll either dive into Hitman 3’s narrative or replay some earlier levels.
