This resurgence sparked discussions about Grande potentially portraying Megara in Disney’s upcoming live-action movie, Hercules. Although Grande is touched by the enthusiasm of fans for her casting, a specific role holds a special place in her heart that she might choose instead.
In the conversations about Megara, Gillies is a name that keeps surfacing. She not only possesses the appearance and seductive acting abilities suitable for the role of Meg, but also the talent to back it up. Gillies is particularly recognized for her part as Jade West on Victorious. She developed a friendship with Grande while they both starred in Broadway’s 13, and this bond has continued since then.
