Meghan Markle’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan delays release date

Due to the persistent wildfires in Los Angeles, Meghan Markle’s planned lifestyle show will now be released in March of this year.

Originally scheduled for release next week, on the 15th of January, I was all set to enjoy With Love, Meghan. However, unfortunately, the film’s release has been pushed back to March 4th due to the ongoing destruction and devastation from the wildfires currently raging through Los Angeles.

The release date change was made “in response to a request from Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and with the complete backing of Netflix.” This series is intended as a moving homage to the charm of Southern California.

Upon learning about the postponement of the release date, Markle expressed gratitude towards his Netflix partners for allowing this adjustment. They are prioritizing aid for those affected by the wildfires in California, his home state.

The fire department in Montecito, California, where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reside, reports that the region’s fire risk level is currently high. Fortunately, at this point, the fire has not expanded to that area.

The series by Markle consists of eight instalments, leaving many enthusiasts taken aback when she reappeared on Instagram after half a decade and unveiled the production, along with a sneak peek in the form of a trailer.

Prince Harry is anticipated to feature in several episodes, whereas Markle’s show will feature notable personalities such as actress Mindy Kaling (from “The Sex Lives of College Girls”), Korean-American chef Roy Choi, chef and restaurateur Alice Waters, plus other esteemed chefs and some distinguished friends.

Apart from “Love, Meghan,” numerous other shows have also been affected by the persistent wildfires across Southern California.

Most notably, the Oscars nominations have been delayed by two days, until Sunday 19th January.

Over the past week or so, several Los Angeles debuts such as Better Man, On Call, The Last Showgirl, among others, have had their premieres postponed.
