Travis Kelce Cryptically Teases New Music From Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is ready for it.

A month following Taylor Swift’s emotional farewell at her fully-booked Eras Tour, her partner hinted that possibly fresh tunes from the artist known as “Karma” might soon materialize.

During the January 13th installment of The Pat McAfee Show, I playfully remarked to my host that there could be a few more tunes dedicated to the talented tight end from the Kansas City Chiefs in our repertoire. You see, I find inspiration for melodies in the most unexpected places, and that includes the vibrant world of sports.

Travis, who seems to be the muse for her songs “So High School” and “The Alchemy” from her Tortured Poets Department, hasn’t revealed much about Taylor’s upcoming projects. However, he’s completely enamored by the purple haze of her music, admiring the genius behind his girlfriend’s creative process.

“I’ll never chime in,” Travis shared, “but I’m here to support it.”

He added, “I’m here to see where it can go.”

And the support goes both ways for Taylor, who is often seen cheering Travis on at Chiefs games.

On the evening of July 7, 2023, at Taylor’s Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, I bravely made an attempt to approach her, a moment I had been eagerly anticipating. In my hand, I held a unique gift – a friendship bracelet subtly inscribed with what I considered my “number.” Alas, the outcome wasn’t as I had hoped, but the experience was one I’ll never forget. Their affection for each other is as vivid as the Northern Lights, especially when they pay visits to that cozy Christmas bar in Kansas City. There, they’ve shown no qualms about public displays of affection, making every fan moment feel even more magical.

Following her disclosure to TIME that she stepped away from the limelight after Kim Kardashian’s notorious leaked phone conversation in 2016, Taylor Swift is now making an appearance each evening, should she choose to do so – and she certainly has that right!

He acknowledged that he had attracted a lot of attention, stating, “I realize I drew all this focus on myself.” He added, “I made friendship bracelets and shared with everyone about my disappointment at not meeting Taylor.” Yet, he clarified, he wasn’t going to provide a detailed account of their relationship.

He clarified that since his experiences are personal, he wants to maintain privacy for both parties involved. He’s currently relishing life and had a great time over the weekend. Moving forward, he plans to limit discussions about sports and simply use phrases like “alright nah” in conversation.

In my own words, I find myself surrounded by people urging, “Be careful not to mess this up!” To which, I respond with a nod, acknowledging their advice. The crucial aspect for me was ensuring that I didn’t utter any words that might drive Taylor further away.

This affectionate moment came after Taylor made a sweet surprise alteration to the lyrics of her song “Karma,” changing “the guy on the screen” to “the guy on the Chiefs.” This unexpected change delighted Travis, who was there with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift.

Attending each other’s sports events, such as Taylor going to 13 Chiefs games last season despite having to travel directly from her concert in Tokyo for the Super Bowl, demonstrates the depth of their commitment.

Taylor mentioned to TIME that they will be there to watch him pursue his passion, expressing mutual support. They are unfazed by the presence of others and simply take pride in each other’s achievements. In contrast, maintaining privacy about a relationship often requires an excessive effort. However, they are not hiding their affection for one another.

If her attendance at NFL games bothers you, rest assured, she doesn’t hold a grudge against you enough to care.

She mentioned that there’s a camera located about half a mile away, and its exact location is unknown to her. Additionally, she has no idea when or even if her actions are being broadcasted. As a result, she’s unsure if she appears on screen multiple times or just once. Her main focus is supporting Travis; she doesn’t have any sense of whether she’s overexposed and potentially annoying some fathers, brothers, or men named Brad, Bradley, or Charlie.
