1. Anthony is killed
[image id=”2191347″ size=”full” title=”emmerdale-laurel-nicola-anthony” alt=”Laurel hitting Anthony with a candlestick in Emmerdale” classes=””] Laurel jumps in to save Nicola.
It’s now clear that Anthony is a truly despicable individual, and it was only a matter of time before justice caught up with him. As the week begins, Laurel is recuperating from a hangover while Anthony lounges on her couch. Eventually, Nicola remains unaware of his past, leaving Anthony alone to tutor Angelica instead.
However, whenever Angelica’s around, Chas quickly instructs Nicola to escort Anthony away, which she complies with, causing Anthony’s ire. Later, when things escalate for Nicola, Laurel steps in and knocks out Anthony, striking him with a candlestick.
As a gunshot rings out, and Anthony is found dead, who has killed him?
2. Dawn and Joe have their secrets
Kim put forward an intriguing job opportunity at Home Farm Estates for Dawn, yet after their recent kiss with Joe, Dawn finds herself questioning whether it was genuinely Kim’s suggestion or not. Inquiring about Joe’s potential involvement only leads to another kiss between them, and ultimately, they move things a step further into the bedroom.
The day after, Dawn finds herself overwhelmed with guilt when Billy comes back home, accompanied by Evan, following his initial outpatient chemotherapy session. Should she admit her feelings?
Somewhere else, it’s evident that Joe’s health issue seems to be taking a toll on him, as Dawn discovered him unconscious in his car and surrounded by medication. What’s the matter with him?
3. Kim is supported by Joe
As I wandered through the somber stillness of the cemetery, I found myself drawn to the heartfelt conversation between Joe and Kim. It was palpable that she yearned for Graham’s presence, but the recent loss of Will had added another layer to her sorrow. In a poignant display of empathy, Joe offered comfort to Kim in this difficult time.
