On January 15 (in Japan), Square Enix and B.B. Studio plan to launch “Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline” and its expansion “The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally” on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). This was officially announced by the company.
The game and its expansion will both have reduced prices until specific dates. The game will cost 1,960 yen until January 28, after which the price rises to 2,800 yen. Similarly, the expansion’s discounted price is 1,920 yen, but it will increase to 2,400 yen later on.
Dragon Quest X: Offline Edition debuted on the Japanese market for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam (PC) on September 15, 2022. Later, it was released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in Asia on May 28, 2024.

- Wena Islands – A group of islands surrounded by the sea with a warm climate. It is the homeland of the Wetlings, a “water people” who sing songs of love.
- Eltona – A treasure trove of nature and possessor of the World Tree. It is the homeland of the Elves, a “wind people” who respect nature.
- Puku Land – A land of lush green plains and hilly areas. It is the homeland of the Poppets, a “flower people” who live on laughter and dreams.
- Dwachakka – A land of rock and sand where ancient ruins lie. It is the homeland of the Dwarves, an “earth people” who respect wealth and technology.
