Jennifer Tilly may be diamond rich, but she’s really just like us.
Indeed, following the disclosure of her staggering divorce settlement with ex-spouse and co-creator of “The Simpsons”, Sam Simon, the star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is now making it clearer about the extent of her actual wealth.
Tilly expressed her surprise,” TopMob News reported exclusively following inquiries about her wealth upon joining the Bravo series’ 14th season. “Firstly, I don’t consider myself wealthy. However, it seems I might be living in a bit of a fantasy since I do own multiple properties and apparently have a designer handbag priced at $33,000.” (Stay tuned to TopMob News tonight, January 14th, at 11 p.m., for additional insights from our exclusive interview with Jennifer.)
The Academy Award-nominated actress added, “I assumed everyone was aware that I owned a fragment from ‘The Simpsons’. It may be small, but it’s still worth boasting about.
Though Tilly owns four homes, including one in Las Vegas, a beach house in Malibu, and two neighboring properties in the upscale Bel-Air area, she maintains that she leads a simple lifestyle.
The 66-year-old mentioned that she and her boyfriend live in a small, somewhat messy house, with no connection to the larger mansion next door. She jokingly referred to herself as not being delusional, unlike someone who might own a grand estate, have a chauffeur, and be treated like Sutton Stracke’s character is by her chauffeur. Instead, she chooses to live her life as she always has.
Tilly openly shared that she was taken aback by the public’s response following her disclosure on the Dec. 3 episode of the reality series, as she continues to receive income from The Simpsons up until now, which is a result of Simon, whom she divorced in 1991, more than two decades before his passing in 2015.
As a lifestyle expert, I was taken aback by the enthusiasm people showed towards something I found extraordinary. They reacted with excitement, saying things like, “She owns a house right next door and she splurged $4,000 on a dress for her doll!” They’d give me a high five. I had expected criticism, thinking people would say, “It’s terrible she spent that much money on a doll’s dress when there are people starving.” But instead, I realized the reality TV show we’re part of offers an escape, a chance for viewers to live vicariously through our lives.
Despite portraying a lavish lifestyle on television, Tilly maintains that it’s tacky to publicly display wealth, and she strongly agrees that money does not guarantee happiness.

Although Tilly often displays her luxurious life on TV, she thinks it’s inappropriate to boast about wealth, and she firmly believes that money cannot bring happiness.
She pointed out, “It’s the reason people are drawn to ‘Housewives’. They have so much money for plastic surgery, designer clothing and jewelry, yet they remain unhappy. This is what makes ‘Housewives’ intriguing. It seems like if one had their wealth, they would be content. However, these individuals are not happy, which is why people enjoy watching ‘Housewives’.
Regarding the exceptionally scarce Louis Vuitton handbag shaped like a boat that she showcased recently, Tilly made it clear what the actual selling price of the designer item is.
As a lifestyle expert, let me clarify something: Contrary to what might have been mistakenly reported, the cost was not $33,000. A quick search may have led someone astray. In actuality, I paid only $22,000 for this rare piece, a fact I confirmed directly with my contact in the industry.

On Tuesdays at 8 p.m., you can catch “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Bravo. Plus, stick around for TopMob’s comprehensive list ranking each Housewife!
Bravo’s unsuccessful endeavor to showcase our country’s capital introduced four women who, if you didn’t remember them, it would be understandable – their names are Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner. However, there was one woman so eager for stardom that she managed to crash a party at the White House. We’ll delve deeper into her story later on.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
Utah’s second-season Housewife, Jennie, ended her tenure with a controversial flare (not in a positive sense). In January 2022, Jennie was dismissed following the reemergence of old Facebook posts containing offensive and racially insensitive content online. Later, she expressed apologies for her actions but the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
In a more relaxed and straightforward manner: During season 16, the doctor from Orange County was free of any major dramas. Her marital issues with her husband, who seems to always be shirtless (either Ryne or Ryan), were not particularly captivating. However, Dr. Jen’s overindulgence in wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward yet entertaining dinner party is something we will never forget.
The inaugural year of the nurse anesthetist was marked by a regrettable incident that we hope will not recur: the infamous “Throat Incident,” or more commonly known as “Esophagus-gate.
Katie often enjoyed discussing her charitable endeavors, yet she didn’t seem to be very active on-screen for extended periods. She could be described as a fleeting presence, making only a brief impact and not significantly contributing as a friend. Cutting the cast trip short? That’s definitely against the norm in the world of Housewives.
As a devoted observer, I can’t help but notice that during her tenure as a full-time Housewife for two seasons, Charrisse’s marital struggles were quite prominent in our shared experience. Alongside these challenges, her champagne room is an unforgettable aspect of her persona, making a lasting impression on all who witness it.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In season 12, it was refreshing to notice a bit of diversity in the previously all-white Orange County setting. However, Peggy turned out to be a source of irritation throughout the season. The arguments she initiated were peculiar and frequently revolved around her misunderstanding a word or phrase, and her decision to isolate herself in her room for an entire day during the trip to Iceland suggested that she might not thrive in the fast-paced world of reality TV shows like The Real Housewives.
Instead of developing a connection with co-star Wendy Osefo during season eight, Nneka’s debut storyline focused solely on accusations she made against Wendy’s mother, claiming she was a witch (remarkably, true). It’s a pity we didn’t get to witness the two women connecting over their shared Nigerian heritage instead of engaging in conflict without resolution.
In the 16th season, Noella whirled around like a whirlwind of frenetic enthusiasm. Although her private hardships were intriguing (her husband, James, departed the country and requested a divorce just before filming began), it was her ongoing turmoil with Heather Dubrow that prevented her from sinking too low in the rankings. With more time and another season, we might grow fonder of Mrs. Bergener.
In her initial season, she was known as a peacemaker. However, by her second (and final) season, she shifted to constant complaints about a tossed cake and allegations of anti-Semitism that seemed unwarranted. It’s hard to recall a swifter descent from grace on “Real Housewives” than this one.
Everything that Amber and her spouse Jim appeared to do had an air of urgency or panic about it. Moreover, it was evident that he played a larger role in the unfolding events compared to Amber, which didn’t present a positive image.
The only thing that stands out about Karen is that she was a dentist, and none of her colleagues appeared to have a good relationship with her. Moving on!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Among the relatively short-lived cast members on “RHONY”, Jules didn’t stay long enough to earn a top spot. Yet, she certainly brought a good dose of excitement and drama during her time on the show.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a multi-faceted, accomplished Arab woman who seamlessly merged contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural customs. For the most part, she managed to steer clear of the first season’s drama and often found herself in the shadow of her co-stars whose larger-than-life personas took center stage.
Taleen proved to be an excellent newcomer during the second season of RHODubai, and we’re eager to learn even more about her.
In seasons 11 and 12 of America’s Next Top Model, the longtime participant chose a peach, but didn’t leave a significant mark on the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) world, except for being pregnant throughout her time there. However, she did earn praise for her brilliant reading of Marlo Hampton during their time in Tokyo. Kudos for that memorable moment!
As a norm, we often need to observe multiple seasons to rank a new Housewife higher. However, Katie made a strong entrance during the 18th season of RHOC, challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow right off the bat. It takes a courageous woman to question someone as high-class as Ms. Fancypants.
Sara’s cheerful, insightful perspective on life was refreshing, yet lacked much dramatic tension (except for when she gave Caroline Brooks some unsolicited parenting advice that wasn’t well-received). Nevertheless, this tech entrepreneur has broken down barriers and challenged the traditional image of a modern Muslim woman in the Middle East, earning our admiration.
The newcomers on “RHONJ” season 13 seem to embody the typical persona of a Garden State Housewife, and they soon engaged in a prolonged argument about insignificant matters that Andy Cohen considered futile during the reunion. We’re eager for their return in season 14, hoping they can climb higher on the ranks after an engaging debut.
Back in the day, when I first tuned into RHOM, Larsa didn’t exactly steal the spotlight before departing from season one. But then, when Peacock rebooted the series for season four in 2021, it was all about her past friendship with Kim Kardashian that took center stage. (Oh, and let’s not forget those tantalizing foot snaps she’d occasionally post on OnlyFans…)
After appearing as a Bravolebrity for one season, she participated in season 12 of ‘Next Food Network Star’ in 2016, but unfortunately, she didn’t win the competition that year.
Sadly, she seemed to serve as an easy target for Brandi Glanville, and her catchphrase, which glorified the unpleasant idea that one could never be too thin, was distasteful.
