Add The Traitors to your watchlist
In “The Traitors,” it’s crucial to be wary as trust is scarce. The person you share a meal with at breakfast might secretly be working against your expulsion. A kind elderly individual helping you in a task could potentially be scheming your demise. Even those from Wales are likely to be English, so be cautious! As the climax of series three nears – where once again, the selected “Traitors” have been deceiving and faking deaths among the majority “Faithful” contestants – only one individual has remained true: host Claudia Winkleman.
In our attempt, we failed to extract any more secrets from her as she had already disclosed a surprising turn of events. Each installment features the Loyalists attempting to “exile” a Saboteur in a tense boardroom-style conversation, with the departing individual revealing their true colors. However, this week’s climactic discussion will be a silent one, allowing the remaining contestants to speculate about the Loyalists’ decisions before the game concludes. If all Saboteurs have been eliminated, the Loyalists share the potential prize of £120,000 equally. Conversely, if any Saboteurs still lurk among them, they will walk away with the entire winnings.

Winkleman stated that at the conclusion, someone who participated will be acknowledged, but they might simply depart. He added that you’ll enjoy the ending, he hopes, as it flips everything upside down.
Claudia, now that you’ve unveiled the exile plot for this season’s finale, what impact does it have on the strategies and dynamics of the game?
How did you react at the ending?
I always cry at the end. If I didn’t, something would be off. That’s all I can say.
You’ve said there’s a banishment this series that has you in floods of tears — what happened?
I’m glad no one caught my departure on camera. If you don’t mind, we can discuss the matter further on January 25th, and then I will reveal the person in question to you.
If I tell you anything, I will lose my job
Many participants this season are keeping their identities concealed – one is a secretive cleric, another portrays himself as a nail technician yet was formerly a soldier. Is it more challenging for them or do they show cunning strategy in doing so?
I love the gameplay and I’m absolutely here for it.
You wake up tomorrow and you’re in the castle as a Traitor. What’s your first move?
Say nothing. I would mess it up, though, within three minutes.
Would you be a better Faithful? How’s your lie-detecting?
It seems I’d rather act truthfully myself, but honestly, I’m not sure if I’m being deceived. For quite some time now, my 18-year-old has claimed to have completed all her homework.
How and why did you pick the initial three Traitors? What made them each stand out?
The decision isn’t solely mine; it’s a collective effort involving talented producers, casting personnel, and myself. We all gather in a meeting, deliberating until we make our choices. If someone expresses a desire not to play the role of a Traitor, they likely won’t be selected for the part.
Is a new reality show featuring celebrities as traitors in the works? Has it already been recorded, or will it be filmed later? Can we expect to uncover some secrets when the series concludes?
The weather has been pretty tricky lately don’t you think? Lots of rain the other day.
By the way, have you ever objected to any of your friends or acquaintances performing a similar task – for instance, Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly Come Dancing could do it, but wouldn’t that potentially divert your attention?
I haven’t vetoed anyone, but I think it would be hard if a great friend did it.
Have you ever thought about participating in a children’s version of Traitors? Given Junior Taskmaster and Junior Bake Off, would that concept appeal to you, or do you think it might be emotionally challenging?
It’s a great show for grown-ups.
Are there any participants from this year’s group that you hope to maintain a connection with after the competition?
In every case, should they welcome me. At this very moment, I was communicating with Wilf from the first season of “Traitor.” And just to avoid any discomfort, let’s remember that we share a bond as relatives.
