A dedicated fan has added a touch of creativity to the action-packed fight scene between Deadpool and Wolverine in the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine”. This third Deadpool film saw the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and the introduction of these characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One memorable scene showcased a battle between the two heroes, but in the movie, Wolverine was not yet wearing his signature mask. However, this gap was filled by an imaginative fan who digitally superimposed the mask onto Jackman’s head, as his Adamantium claws sliced and swords pierced during the intense fight.
As a die-hard cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Taran Singh, a seasoned VFX supervisor and generalist, unveiled his fan-crafted video on the platform we once knew as Twitter, titled “DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE FIGHT MASK EDITION”. This project was no walk in the park, but the end result left me beaming with satisfaction! Using Deadpool’s famous phrase, I can say that Singh truly delivered what fans craved by flawlessly incorporating Wolverine’s mask into the movie. The process must have taken countless hours to perfect, and for those who want a high-definition viewing experience, he also uploaded an enhanced version on his YouTube channel.
Here you go! Check this out: “Here we are, everyone! It’s the Mask Edition of Deadpool vs. Wolverine! I must say, I’m really pleased with the outcome!” #DeadpoolAndWlogerine

Rob Liefeld comments on Cable being left out of Deadpool & Wolverine
Artist Rob Liefeld, known for crafting Deadpool and Cable in the comic book world, expressed his thoughts on Cable’s absence from “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Josh Brolin brought Cable to life in “Deadpool 2,” leading fans to anticipate his return alongside Domino in the sequel. However, with Wolverine as the main character, it appears Marvel opted to keep the spotlight on the principal personalities. Nevertheless, Liefeld, known for his candid opinions, voiced his disagreement with this decision.
Renowned fan artist Bosslogic posted some concept art featuring Josh Brolin portraying the DC villain, Darkseid. When one admirer showed interest in the possibility of the DC Universe stealing Brolin from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Rob Liefeld responded with the following comment:
“Shouldn’t have blocked him from Deadpool & Wolverine. All time boner move.”
As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’ve always been excited about the prospect of seeing Josh Brolin in action as both Deadpool and Wolverine. Yet, even before their joint appearance on the silver screen, Brolin playfully hinted at some unease about being excluded from these iconic roles. In an interview with Collider, he jested that it could be due to Ryan Reynolds’ dislike for him, but then added, “I’m not so sure that’s the reason. I don’t know. Maybe there’s something more to it.
In an interview with Bingeworthy TV, Brolin expressed his strong desire to be a part of Deadpool & Wolverine. Although his character Cable may not appear again immediately, many MCU fans speculate that he could reappear in major projects like Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars. This would serve as another significant link between the old Fox X-Men Universe and Marvel Studio’s upcoming X-Men reboot. Brolin’s chances of appearing in more Marvel films are certainly not exhausted.
Deadpool & Wolverine is now available to stream on Disney+.
