In the Alto Knights trailer, there’s a deal where you get twice the fun, as Robert De Niro plays two contrasting characters in a movie that chronicles the lives of New York’s most infamous organized crime chieftains.
Frank Costello (portrayed by De Niro) and Vito Genovese (also De Niro), once close allies, now find themselves competing for power over the city’s streets. Their friendship soured due to minor grudges and a chain of deceptions, pushing them towards a lethal confrontation that will indelibly alter the Mafia and America as we know it.
Featuring alongside him are Debra Messing, known for “Will & Grace”, Cosmo Jarvis from “Shōgun”, Kathrine Narducci of “The Irishman”, Michael Rispoli from “Billions”, Michael Adler of “Peppermint”, Ed Amatrudo who has been in “Till” and “Nashville”, Joe Bacino from “Kick-Ass”, Anthony J. Gallo of “The Irishman”, Wallace Langham of “Ford v Ferrari”, Louis Mustillo known for “Cooper’s Bar” and “Mike & Molly”, Frank Piccirillo, Matt Servitto of “Billions”, and Robert Uricola from “Raging Bull”.
The movie boasts an equally impressive lineup, with Oscar nominee Nicholas Pileggi (“Goodfellas”) penning the script, Oscar winner Irwin Winkler (“Rocky,” “Goodfellas”) serving as producer, and Barry Levinson, who’s been away from filmmaking for a decade due to TV series, taking up the director’s chair.
THE ALTO KNIGHTS is in cinemas on 21st March 2025
