As an excited fan, I can’t help but share the news that Publisher Source Technology and developer Recreate Games are gearing up to launch a PlayStation 5 version of the physics-based party game, “Party Animals,” on the PlayStation Store! While they didn’t give a specific release date yet, it’s safe to say that this announcement has me eagerly awaiting more details. Stay tuned for updates!
On September 20, 2023, the game titled “Party Animals” was introduced for the first time on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC through Steam and Microsoft Store. Moreover, it can be accessed via Game Pass as well.
Here is an overview of the game, via Source Technology:
Party Animals gathers an assortment of charming animals such as puppies, kittens, rabbits, and ducks for the most adorable cooperative brawler you’ve come across! In this game, these clumsy creatures engage in a physics-based multiplayer comedy where they grapple, punch, toss, and scuffle through different task-focused or competitive games, either online or offline.
The distinctive physics engine developed by Recreate Games within Party Animals, offers entirely physics-based character movements, resulting in unforeseeable, comically awkward interactions. Will your punch connect at just the right spot to send your opponent flying off the stage, or will it cause your character to lose balance instead? Engage in a ruckus with friends and rivals, and all you can do is cross your fingers for good luck!
In the game called Party Animals, you’ll find numerous game modes for both offline and online multiplayer action, including free-for-all battles and mission-oriented gameplay. The adventure takes place across an assortment of unique settings where unexpected events are common – like a fierce fight with lollipops between a charming dinosaur and a cuddly shark!
