On February 10th, the Nintendo eShop will release the Nintendo Switch version of the lightning-quick hyper ninja action game, Ninja Issen, as confirmed by publishers CFK and developers Asteroid-J.

Synopsis
One fateful day, I, a revered ninja known as Kiba, found myself unjustly accused of slaying my very own clan leader. Before I could prove my innocence, relentless pursuers chased me away from the safety of my clan.
As the renowned top ninja of my clan, it’s no secret that I’m hunted by many. Yet, even with the burning desire for vengeance coursing through me, I find myself thrust into a strange and alien world, one I never dared imagine.
In a narrow escape, Kiba barely survives, hanging by a thread. After a grueling battle, he’s teetering on the edge of life and death. However, in an odd twist of fate, engineer Hanzo stumbles upon the wounded Kiba and miraculously restores him from the verge of demise.
Over time, Kiba undergoes various enhancements and toughening processes, amplifying his power significantly. Now, he embarks on a path of vengeance, seeking redemption for past wrongs, restoring his reputation, and finding his way back home.
Main Characters
- Kiba – Our skilled ninja protagonist. Falsely accused of killing his clan leader one day, he finds himself being pursued. For some reason unknown to him, he was brought into the heart of a city in the future in critical condition. Somehow, he manages to find help and stumbles upon a new sort of power. Now, Kiba must set out on a perilous adventure to get his revenge and find some way to return to his time.
- Hanzo – World-renowned engineer and owner of HANZO’S HOT SUSHI. He happens upon Kiba, dying from the wounds he sustained in battle, and drags him back to his workshop, where he saves the man’s life. Using his expertise and top-level skills, he provides help to Kiba throughout the game.
- Asran – A woman unbeknownst to Kiba who somehow remembers this ninja from the past. She was caught up in the same time slip as Kiba and holds the clues to solving every issue he faces. Yes, what sort of secrets is she hiding?
- Suikyu – Second-in-command of the clan. After the clan leader was killed, he was the one who accused Kiba of being an assassin and ordered his men to get rid of the traitor.
Ever since its debut in 2023, “Ninja Issen” has been garnering notice due to winning the Best Indie Game award at the Made with Unity Korea Awards Show. It has sustained this interest through various domestic and international game exhibitions such as G-star, PlayX4, and the Tokyo Game Show.
