Brody Jenner Breaks Silence on Caitlyn Jenner's Shocking Apology After Years of Heartbreak!

Brody Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner have had their ups and downs, but they’re better now.

The former student of Hills opened up about his bond with his father, who underwent a gender transition in 2015. He reminisced on his childhood and admitted to experiencing a sense of detachment from the renowned Olympian during those years.

Brody, who was separated from his mother Linda Thompson when he was just a toddler in 1986, mentioned during an interview on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test on January 15th, that he would occasionally run into this person, whom I refer to as him at the time. He added that his mom would tell him stories about how he would write cards asking why his father didn’t call him on his birthday.

41-year-old stated that Caitlyn’s marriage to Kris Jenner, who is the mother of Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian, along with her continued commitment to filming “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” left him feeling a sense of being “somewhat neglected” or “forgotten” by his father.

Brody clarified, “My mom was truly amazing. As for my father, Bruce, he wasn’t present much during my childhood. They eventually separated, and later on, Dad found another woman who also had children. This lady and Dad ended up having more kids together.

Despite their differences, the reality TV personality – who has a 17-month-old daughter, Honey, with fiancée Tiarah “Tia” Blanco – publicly empathized with Caitlyn’s struggles during that period.

He expressed that the public saw him undergoing personal challenges, changes in his life, which were all broadcasted. However, he mentioned certain instances where cameras were present, and it seemed intrusive and not authentic to him.

Brody remarked, “When I learned that Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce, desired to be identified as Caitlyn, it brought a sense of relief. It seems that many aspects of my father’s behavior began to clarify, shedding light on why he was absent for so many years.

Previously known as a star on the show “Princes of Malibu,” he further proposed that his complex relationship with his own father might equip him to become an even better father to his own child.

As a lifestyle advisor, I can empathize with the sentiment shared: “Growing up without Bruce by my side and seeing her transition, it was challenging to be his son.” Now, however, I find myself transformed; no longer am I living solely for myself. Instead, I live for the joy and purpose that my precious daughter brings into my life.

Brody stated that he intends to act completely differently from his father, by providing support and presence for her.

In a different part of the “Special Forces” episode, he pondered a little deeper about his desire to be more involved in Honey’s life, inspired by the scarcity of his own father’s presence during his childhood years.

Brody expressed, “Having children means taking on some accountability for how our actions affect them too. I believe this understanding has significantly influenced the way I parent – being more mindful and present with my daughter.

Despite a previously tense father-son bond, the pair appears to be moving forward on a more optimistic trajectory. In fact, Brody has shared that he has recently accepted an apology from Caitlyn.

He disclosed that he had just received a genuine, heartfelt apology – something he had never experienced before. He expressed, “It was the first time in my life to receive an apology. Frankly, I’m sorry for not being there, and I must say, it truly meant a lot.
