Brittany Mahomes Reveals the Frozen-Inspired Name Daughter Almost Had – See Their Super Cute Family Moments

The cold never bothered Brittany Mahomes anyway.

Prior to giving birth to daughter Golden Raye Mahomes on January 12 (her third child with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahoms), the co-owner of Kansas City Current disclosed that her eldest child, Sterling (aged 3), had been advocating for a name inspired by the movie “Frozen”.

Brittany shared that her daughter has been insisting she be named Elsa for some time now, as reported in an interview with Today.com on January 16th. However, it seems they won’t be going ahead with that name choice!

For a short while, the couple debated back and forth about baby Golden’s name, sticking with their theme of elemental names. However, after much deliberation, the 29-year-old woman revealed that she and her partner, Patrick (who is also 29), are deeply fond of the final choice they made for the baby’s name.

After several years of dating, they finally got married in 2022, and these long-time lovebirds from high school have remained just as loving ever since.

Brittany said, ‘When I’m upset or grumpy, he understands without a fuss. He doesn’t challenge me or try to provoke me because he’s aware of it.’

At a January 14th press conference, the Super Bowl MVP indicated that he feels content with having three children for now, expressing this to reporters.

He went on to express his joy, saying, “It’s delightful to have another little girl join our family, and I can’t wait to see how my other children respond to her.” He added, “Having a new baby sister around and all the excitement that comes with it – it’s been an enjoyable experience for us all.

However, at this moment, another “Mahomes Jr.” isn’t an option, but Patrick isn’t against creating a new strategy in the future by drafting someone else.

He continued, “Initially, I aimed for three accomplishments. We’ve achieved that. For now, we’ll stay put and assess whether additional efforts are needed in the future.
