On January 28th, NetherRealm confirmed that Conan the Barbarian will be added to Mortal Kombat 1’s roster. But, if you own Kombat Pack 2 or Khaos Reigns, you can start playing him a week earlier on January 21st. You can watch his gameplay trailer below for a sneak peek.
In the 1982 film titled after him and featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger’s likeness, Conan’s fighting style heavily revolves around his sword. Some of his most destructive moves involve thrusting his sword into an opponent’s shoulder, then violently pulling it out. He also performs powerful spins and can impale an enemy, lift their body over his head, and slam them to the ground.
Regarding his Fatalities, they are quite simple: Conan cooks his opponents in a cauldron and subsequently removes their skull for appreciation. Simultaneously, his Animalities consist of transforming into a bull and impaling dangers with its horns.
