TikTok is mourning the loss of a beloved community member.
It is reported that Chris O’Donnell, more commonly recognized as Creeohdee online, passed away on January 11th at the age of 31, according to his digital obituary.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s office told TopMob News that his death was determined as a suicide.
Kevin Clevenger, known as ironsanctuary on social platforms, paid a touching tribute to O’Donnell on his TikTok account. He posted a video compilation of the popular internet personality on January 16th and wrote: “I will eventually find solace in believing you are free from pain, but today my heart grieves that you are no longer with us. I love you.
Many individuals who followed him posted messages reminiscing about O’Donnell. One individual expressed, “This is truly saddening, Chris’s content provided solace during a difficult period in my life a few years back…I didn’t know him personally, but it feels like I’ve lost someone close. My condolences, friend.
In more casual terms, Chris O’Donnell’s latest TikTok posts have been inundated with heartfelt messages, one user commented, “May you find peace, Chris. You touched the lives of countless people.
One individual expressed that Chris had been an inspiration to them for several years, stating, “When I initially began working out, Chris was my ideal; I aspired to be just like him. Even after four to five years, he remains my role model,” concluding with, “May you rest peacefully.
O’Donnell gained prominence for his fitness-themed videos on TikTok and Instagram, but he clarified in a December 2022 Instagram post that while he creates content primarily focused on fitness, his true passion lies beyond it.
Born in Virginia, yet residing in Arizona now, O’Donnell shared his sentiment for exploring diverse cultures and beliefs that stimulate him to question his own perspectives.
In the very same post, O’Donnell openly shared his struggles with mental health problems and addiction.
He’s been vocal on mental health issues since his role as a YL leader in high school, and has always been open about his own battles with the aim of supporting others. Additionally, he achieved sobriety in 2018 and has since advocated for substance abuse awareness, assisting those who are grappling with addiction in finding the necessary treatment.
