6 EA Games Are Free to Download for a Limited Time

As a gamer huddled around my Xbox Series X, I’m pumped to share that six diverse EA games are up for grabs, free-of-charge, for a limited period! However, the catch is, this offer exclusively applies to Xbox console gamers. So, my fellow Xbox Series S players can join in the fun too. But, here’s the bummer: Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X gamers like me will only get a taste of some of these games. Unfortunately, a few of these EA games aren’t compatible with the older Xbox One consoles at all. On the flip side, PC, PS4, PS5, or Nintendo Switch 2 gamers are out of luck for now, as this deal isn’t available on those platforms yet.

These trials offer extended periods. You can download and play EA games for free until January 27. However, if you wish to carry on playing these games after that date, you’ll need to pay the usual price and buy them like any other game.

To clarify, the games under discussion are primarily sports and racing titles, more specifically: EA Sports College Football 25, also known as EA Sports FC 25; Madden NFL 25; NHL 25; UFC 5; and F1 24.

As a gaming enthusiast, here’s my take: If you’re wondering where to find EA Sports College Football 25, it’s exclusively for the Xbox Series X|S. The same goes for UFC 5 and NHL 25. On a brighter note, Madden NFL 25, F1 24, and EA Sports FC 25 can be enjoyed on Xbox One too.

These free-to-play games are fully accessible to you until January 27th. That gives you ample time to delve deep into each game, experiencing them thoroughly and enjoying the one that catches your interest. It’s worth noting that most of these games are set to release new versions this year, except for UFC 5 which is not an annual series. However, we won’t see any new releases from these series until summer or fall.
