However, a recent trademark filing by Sega hints that the Ecco series might be making a comeback soon.
1992 saw the debut of “Ecco the Dolphin,” an action-adventure game, following closely behind Sega’s popular title, “Sonic the Hedgehog 2.” This game gained massive popularity due to its captivating atmosphere, striking graphics, engaging gameplay, and distinct underwater theme that set it apart from other games available at the time.
